Overview of Installing a CEA CEC

The CEA CEC component is packaged as a Java WAR file for installation into a suitable Java EE application server such as Apache Tomcat. To get the CEC initially up and running you should simply follow the standard instructions for installing a WAR file on the chosen application server. At this point browsing the pages at the URL of the installed WAR will display further information on how to configure the CEC.

This is in fact similar to the documentation that is presented by the CEA CEC when it is installed in the Java EE application server, so you can look at the necessary steps before installing.
